Visakhapatnam is preparing for another major infrastructure transformation with the proposal of a 102 KM Semi Ring Road connecting Rambilli to Bhogapuram. The ambitious project is planned as part of Vizag’s long-term 50-year urban expansion strategy aimed at supporting future growth, connectivity, and economic development.
According to officials, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Vizag Semi Ring Road project is expected to be completed by the end of May.
Once finalized, the project will move toward approvals and implementation stages supporting future urban development around Visakhapatnam.
Authorities are also proposing a major Beach Corridor connecting Visakhapatnam city to the upcoming Bhogapuram International Airport.
The project is expected to improve tourism access, reduce travel time to the airport, and boost real estate development along the coastal belt.
To strengthen connectivity to Bhogapuram International Airport, the government is already developing major connecting roads.
